A student newspaper article on the school’s cafeteria vendor has caused has prompted her school’s administration to delay the printing of the article and instruct the newspaper staff to clear all future issues with them before publication.

In the article, the student, Julia Ostmann quoted a passage from the company’s website pronouncing it’s Christian affiliation, and stating that it’s mission was to “serve God” as well as providing food service.

Principal Sue Vaughn stated that the article was one of the factors in delaying the the publication.

“We’re in no way trying to censor anything,” Vaughn said Thursday. “We were given the copy to look at after it was sent to the printer. There were errors in it that need to be corrected, and then the printing will be continued.”
